2018 SUMMER (JUNE) PROGRAM
Lake Quinsigamond Community Rowing is again offering an “extended spring” summer program to experienced High School rowers of all abilities. Ability to scull is not required, but all athletes will be sculling. We will be practicing & racing in small boats (1x, 2x, 2-) as well as coxed and straight quads, as well as Octuple sculls. Given race schedules, we may also race fours (4+).
The program will be coached by the LQCR staff as well as visiting coaches. We will participate in one local race and the Independence Day Regatta in Philadelphia (overnight trip).
Program has a rolling, open start: Program starts at the end of the athlete’s season, most commonly after the NEIRA Regatta, National School, or USRowing Youth Championships
Until the end of the school year: 3:45pm-6:00pm
After the end of the school year: 8:00am-10:00am

2018 Fall Season
Lake Quinsigamond Community Rowing is again open for a fall season.
This program is open to all in the greater Worcester area. No experience is necessary*.
The focus on the program is the teaching of the sport of rowing to beginners and developing boats towards competing at regattas in the New England area, including LQCR hosted regattas
The program will be coached by Coach Wright with assistance from the rest of the LQCR staff.
Program starts August 27th.
Practice times are 3:45pm-6:00pm Monday-Friday.
We MAY have some Saturday morning practices.
Races are Weekends. See Race Schedule for details and updates.
